Wunderhunter - Contemporary Art Festival

From the 6th to the 13th of August I have been engaged in the contemporary art exhibition in Pergine Valsugana (TN - IT) (where I currently live) Wunderhunter - Contemporary Art Festival. 
The event had been promoted by the municipality of Pergine Valsugana, with the patronage of ADAC Archivio trentino Documentazione Artisti Contemporanei of MART, curated by Area Arte La Musa & Studio d'Arte Astrid Nova. Artists:

The group show was set in three locations in Pergine: Sala Maier, Sala Espositiva Teatro Comunale and at the Artistic Studio Area Arte La Musa & Studio d'Arte Astrid Nova. There had been many meetings and one evening of workshops with the artists. Hereunder you can see some photos of the group show opening and the workshop evening.

ResidenzAmbiente

From the 2nd to the 5th of June I've taken part in the residence project ResidenzAmbiente organized by Spazio Nadir , the gallery and book shop Mirror and the social cooperative Cooperativa Insieme for the festival Festambiente of Vicenza (VI - IT). During that period, I've lived and worked with other ten artists on an installation project: the installations have been carried out with recycled materials, which have been taken from the recycling center Ricicleria Ovest of Vicenza ( AIM Ambiente ). The final works have been exposed from the 14th to the 19th of June at Festambiente (VI - IT).

Spring Street Markets

It has been a looooong busy May for me and my friends, but finally I get to update my blog news! The 14th and 15th of May, me and my friends Carla Albiero(Illustration and Animation Artist) and Alesandra Trestini(Fashion Designer)shared a stand during spring street markets in Schio, thanks to the association La Vie en Rose .

Christmas Street Markets

I know it is not updated, but still, I wanted to write something about my experience at the Christmas Street Markets of Schio.

Carla, Valentina and I took part at street markets during 4 days of December (7/8/12/24) thanks to the organization La Vie en Rose in the city of Schio (Vicenza, Italy).

This had been a brilliant opportunity for me and my friends to show and sell some of our artistic works: we exposed prints, bookmarks, and original works; we also made some decorations and gifts on the theme of Christmas. 

We met interesting people and one of them offered us to achieve an exposition in her interior design shop Officina d'Interni in Schio on the theme of "Rebirth", expected for the end of February and the beginning of March. We are now developing specific projects for this first exposition of the year.

Hipster commission

I have a new commission for a canvas in these days: 

my client asked me for a painting of a hipster gentleman, so that she can expose it in her hairdresser shop.

Currently I've done a few sketches for the final canvas and I'm waiting for my client's opinion (I hope she likes them!).

Month of Fear : Beneath the Fog

During these two passed days I've made an illustration for the Month of Fear 2015 contest.

It represents a banshee screaming in the fog. The banshee is a female spirit in Irish mythology, usually seen as an omen of death and a messenger from another world; in fact, a banshee is a fairy woman who begins to wail if someone is about to die. The banshee has long, white hair and red eyes (worn out for the tears) and you can hear her screaming and wondering in the barrows. I've always been fascinated by this mythical figure and I hope that my interpretation will be appreciated! Bonne journée!
