Poster Prize for Illustration 2019

Just in time!!! I have made this illustration for the Poster Prize for Illustration 2019, in partnership with London Transport Museum (LTM)
The theme for this year challenge was to tell a story of London through one image. In my case, I wanted to show a real witness of an encounter between a man and a baby urban fox on a bus in London.
It was a good opportunity to exercise a bit with digital coloring and to know something more about urban foxes!

Looking back to my project for the layout of Brieve racconto di tutte le radici, di tutte le erbe e di tutti i frutti che crudi o cotti in Italia si mangiano by Giacomo Castelvetro (XIV century), I can sense a deep change in the stroke and perception of different things in my works… I hope that I’ll continue to challenge me and evolve myself, in order to adapt my style to various possibilities of future projects (Ah, those geometrical snippets of paper were damped with black darjeeling tea and karkadé before I’ve stucked them on the paper and drew figures over them! :) )

Two Layouts for "Brieve racconto di tutte le radici, di tutte le erbe e di tutti i frutti che crudi o cotti in Italia si mangiano"

Last year I’ve designed and printed these two versions of the book Brieve racconto di tutte le radici, di tutte le erbe e di tutti i frutti che crudi o cotti in Italia si mangiano by Giacomo Castelvetro (XIV century). I’ve made them for the course History of the Book, with professor Luciano Perondi, and Typography for Illustration, with professor Mauro Bubbico, during the first year at ISIA of Urbino (PU - IT).
