Flusso

I got back in Italy a few days ago. My Erasmus experience has come to an end; now I have to focus on my last work and also a contest, concerning the water as a metaphor of time. The picture I've made for Recoaro Contest represents a composition of photos of water with a drawing of an androgynous figure on them. I'd like people to give a personal meaning to the work, although I've already given it a specific symbolism.

Sketch for Vanitas

The drawing is one of my researches for the theme "Vanitas", for my final academic thesis. I got it from a portrait I've made of a dear acquaintance with a fake skull. Une bonne journée, now I'll return on my comic work.

The curse (?)

This is a painting I made an year ago, oil on canvas, 70 x 50 cm. I took inspiration from Alfred Tennyson's novel "The Lady of Shalott", in which I found close references of my life.
